(above is an updated picture of my solar panel stand in use. worked great!!)

I thought of attaching the solar panel to my travel trailer, but then I thought that ideally in summer months that I would probably park my trailer in the shade. Therefore I would have to run the solar panel away from the trailer. I looked around for some scrap metal (already had some self-taping screws), and I found the best for what I had. I am sure I could make a better one if I bought the metal. Actually, I would have probably have chosen aluminum. Anyways the idea was to spend as little money as possible. So I used what I had. The rest cost under $15. I have a trip planed soon, so I am going to test it out. If I like it, I’ll paint it to finish it off. If I feel that I need to make an adjustment; I won’t have to worry about paint. You might be able to build this cheaper because I bought more screws, and nuts than I really needed.
I chose not to go into detail about measurements because this project is more about the idea than the actual how to build. Mainly because what you have lying around might be different than what I had.
Thank you!
